August 2015 - Our 8 year old Russian Olive tree in the back yard was blown down by a strong wind and I salvaged some wood for turning. This is the first item turned from the very bottom of the tree just above the roots. The bowl is 4 inches tall and about 6 inches in diameter. It is sanded smooth and finished with Turner's Shellawax.
