57 - Inside Outside turned Vase

Turn 57

May 2013 - This is an Inside Outside vase. First 4 pieces of wood are glued together with paper between the joints and a concave shape is turned.  Then the 4 pieces are taken apart and re-glued after turning each piece 180 degrees.  The outside convex shape is then carved, hence the inside outside name.  The seams where the pieces were glued do not show and it makes people wonder how it was done.  Turned with Oak wood.
