December 2004 - I've made all my pens up to now with the slimline kits.   I ordered some of the Mont Blanc kits to make a pen that is a little bit more elegant.  My first one was with the chokecherry wood and because the pen is a little larger in diameter you can see a little more grain.  It is still a good looking pen and the fact it is made out of wood grown in Saskatchewan is a good feature.
