September 2011 - I made this Mont Blanc style pen from a small piece of Apple Tree branch that a whittling friend had given me. Unlike the other Apple Tree pens I made, this wood was very dry and actually the pen turned out to be quite beautiful with a fairly nice grain showing instead of the previously spotty pens with virtually no grain.
