    May 2022 - The Native American is based on plains-style tribe. His shield symbols represent the four directions with thunderbolts. He is carrying a coupe stick, which represents enemies contacted in battle, without killing. This was considered a symbol of great courage among warriors. The feathers were purchased at a hobby & craft store. He was carved from Red Cedar, painted with acrylics, finished with Howard Bees Wax & Orange Oil and stands about 12 inches to the top of the feathers. |
